Mortgage, loan and compound interest calculators
Thirty-eight finance tools where the formula and the assumptions sit on the page, so the working can be checked instead of taken on trust. Our mortgage calculator runs in your browser, like every tool here.
Easy steps
From the rate you supply to a checkable number
Four steps, the same on every finance tool in the library. You bring the figures you already have, and the page shows what it did with them.
Pick the tool
Open the finance category and choose the job: a home loan repayment, a personal loan, savings growth, a payoff order, a margin. Each tool carries a region badge of AU, US, UK or global where the rules differ.
Enter the numbers you have
Amount, term, repayment frequency, and the rate from your own quote or statement. We do not publish rates or lender products, so nothing is guessed on your behalf.
Read the result with its working
The result comes with the formula, the assumptions used, and a short line on what the output actually means. If a figure is rounded or a fee is ignored, the page says so rather than leaving you to guess.
Share or check the result
After you calculate, the inputs sit in the page URL, so you can send the whole scenario to a partner, a broker or an accountant and they see the same numbers you did.

How we work
A clear path from first conversation to finished work.
Australian tax and money calculators
Eighteen australian-finance tools covering super, HECS-HELP, take-home pay and stamp duty, with the figures and their review dates shown on each calculator page. Reviewed each July. General information only, not tax or financial advice.
Finance and loan calculators
Thirty-eight finance tools for loans, mortgages, compound interest and debt payoff. Each one shows the formula and the assumptions behind the result, so the working can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Health and fitness calculators
Twenty-four health tools including BMI, TDEE, calories and macros, reviewed when the issuing body updates its guidance. General information only, not medical advice.
Trade, construction and farming calculators
Thirteen trade-construction tools and nineteen farming tools for concrete, load, stairs and agricultural quantities. Useful for estimating, not a substitute for engineering sign-off.
A working reference library, not a lead-generation funnel.
How we help
From mortgage calculator to profit margin
The thirty-eight finance tools group into four jobs. Each card says what you need to type in and what the answer is telling you.
Home loans and repayments
Give the loan amount, the term, the repayment frequency and the rate you have been quoted. The result is the repayment per period and the total interest over the term, with the affordability tool working the other way from income and commitments.
Personal and business loans
Amount, term and your rate again, plus any fee the tool asks for. The output shows the regular repayment and the total cost of borrowing, which is the number worth comparing between two offers.
Compound interest and savings growth
Enter a starting balance, any regular contribution, your assumed rate and the number of years. The result splits the ending balance into what you put in and what the compounding added, with the frequency set by you.
Debt payoff and business margins
Order several debts by balance, rate and minimum payment to see a payoff sequence, or run revenue against cost to get margin and markup. Two different jobs, both answered with the formula printed underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you publish interest rates or lender products?
- No. You will not find an interest rate, an APR, a lender name or a dollar repayment figure anywhere in this copy. The rate is an input you supply from your own quote, statement or letter of offer, because that is the only rate that applies to you. Every assumption the maths depends on is listed on the calculator page beside the result.
- What do the assumptions actually cover?
- Things that quietly change an answer: the compounding frequency, how any fee is treated, whether extra repayments or extra contributions are modelled, how figures are rounded, and how a partial period is handled. Each tool page lists the ones it uses, so you can tell whether the result matches the way your own loan or account behaves.
- Is the mortgage calculator free to use?
- Yes. All 206 calculators are free, with no account and no paywall. The maths runs in your browser, so your figures are not sent anywhere to be worked out. After you calculate, the inputs appear in the page URL, which is what makes a result shareable.
- What do the AU, US, UK and global badges mean?
- Some finance maths is the same everywhere and some of it follows local rules. A global badge means the formula does not care where you live. An AU, US or UK badge means the tool follows that jurisdiction, and Australian tax, super, study loan and stamp duty tools sit on their own hub.
- Can you tell me which loan to take?
- No. We can show you the arithmetic and the assumptions behind it, but we cannot give financial advice on your circumstances. Take the numbers to a licensed adviser, broker or accountant. General information only, not financial advice.
- A result looks wrong. What should I do?
- Tell us. Send the calculator name or link, the inputs you used, the figure you got and the figure you expected, plus a source if you have one. A confirmed correction becomes a code change with a test behind it, not a quiet edit.
Run your own numbers next
Bring the rate and the balance you already have, and let the tool show its working. If something does not add up, we would rather hear about it than have you trust it.
