Legal & Compliance calculators
Litigation cost, GDPR fine risk, and tribunal cost estimators
3 calculators
Legal calculators here estimate the cost of a dispute rather than its merits: what running a matter is likely to consume in fees and expenses, and what regulatory exposure looks like at a given scale of breach.
Every tool in this group states its jurisdiction, because the rules being modelled are country-specific and do not travel. Costs and exposures also depend heavily on the facts, the forum and the conduct of the other side, so treat any result as an order of magnitude for budgeting.

Questions about legal & compliance calculators
- Can a calculator estimate what a case is worth?
- No. These estimate cost and exposure, not outcome. What a matter is worth depends on liability, evidence, the forum, precedent, the other party's conduct and their capacity to pay. None of which reduce to inputs. Use the cost estimate to decide whether a dispute is proportionate to pursue, then take advice on the merits.
- Do these apply in Australia?
- Check the region badge on each page. Several tools in this group model United Kingdom or European rules, which differ substantially from Australian courts and tribunals in costs rules, scales and time limits. A number generated under the wrong jurisdiction is not a rough guide, it is simply the wrong answer.
