Tax, superannuation, benefit and lending figures are simplified models of complicated rules, and those rules change. Often annually, sometimes mid-year. Thresholds, offsets, levies, surcharges, eligibility tests and lender policies are not fully represented. Use the result to frame a question, then confirm it with the relevant authority, your accountant, or your lender before committing money.
Health and fitness
Health tools apply population-level formulas. They cannot assess an individual, they can be badly wrong for athletes, children, pregnant people, older adults and anyone with a medical condition, and they are never a diagnosis. Speak to a doctor or an accredited practitioner about your own numbers. If something feels urgent, contact emergency services rather than a calculator.
Legal and employment
Legal and employment calculators reflect the jurisdiction stated on the page and nothing else. Entitlements, caps and time limits differ by country, state, award, enterprise agreement and contract, and they are updated regularly. Treat any figure as a rough order of magnitude and obtain advice before relying on it in a claim or a negotiation.
Trade, farming and engineering
Materials, structural, electrical, chemical and agronomic calculators are planning aids. They do not replace a licensed tradesperson, an engineer's certification, a product data sheet, a label rate or the relevant standard or code. Always allow for waste, tolerance and site conditions, and never use an estimate here in place of a required professional sign-off.
